A bunch of my friends and I are going to Cancun for spring break.  It’s going to be great.  We’re staying in an awesome hotel right on the beach.  We have a couple of trips planned to see some Mayan ruins and to go snorkeling.  My friends just wanted to book tours to do that stuff but I cannot do that.  I have to get a Cancun rental car.  I get really, really car sick, especially in cabs.

I found this out the hard way when I went to Las Vegas with my parents.  We took cabs to different hotels and shows and I got so sick every time.  I even tried sitting up front and it didn’t do any good.  I’m not sure what the problem was.  I think it may be because cab drivers tend to drive a little faster and a little more crazily.  My poor parents finally gave up and we ended up getting a rental car in Las Vegas.

I do fine as long as I drive so I’m just going to skip the drama this time and get a Cancun rental car.  I’m a little nervous about driving around and finding our way but it’s better than being sick the entire time.  A couple of my friends who are going took pity on me and said that they would go with me in the rental car.
