Cell Phone Recycling
By bkAuto in Technology | 1 comment

Most people don’t keep their cell phones very long these days. They get a new one after just about one year because by that time the technology has advanced enough to make the newer phones far better than the ones that they have. Many people are starting to realize that it’s important to recycle their mobile phones instead of just throwing the old ones away when they get an upgrade.
Did you know that it’s not just the phone itself that should be recycled but also all of the mobile phone accessories that you get to go along with it? That’s right. It’s important to make an effort to recycle your cell phone batteries and your cellular phone chargers and even your cell phone earpieces if you aren’t going to be using them with the new phone that you get. By doing this, you keep a lot of electronics from going to the landfill.
If you want to get rid of old cell phones and cell phone accessories, you should first see if these items can be re-used by someone in your area. If this isn’t possible then you should donate them to a cell phone recycling program or electronics recycling program in your region. This is just one more way that we can be responsible with our technology.
