If you have ever loved the Blues, then you know about the Mercury.  Even David Lindley had to sing about it.  My idea of a Mercury comes in the way of something that I can do on a lake.  And do it fast.  Whether I’m pulling the kids on their skis, fishing, or just spending time with my family and friends on the water, my Mercury takes care of me.  I love that old engine.  I take care of it myself now.  I have a place that keeps me stocked on Mercury outboard parts, and I have a good manual.

I know that the thought of having to get your own outboard parts, and fix the power plant yourself may be a bit too much.  The reality of it is that if you perform regular and proper maintenance on the outboard, it’s going to last a long time, like mine, and not be the hole in the water where money flows into.  You bought this thing to have fun.  Taking care of it fun.  Making sure it runs on the water for your family’s enjoyment is more fun.  Decking it out with some great boat accessories that make it more livable for your guests makes your time easy.
