Defeating the Scavengers of Darkness

I’ve always found them to be pesky little pests. Those crows and their scavenging, tearing apart my garbage at every turn. Those black creatures of darkness. Those birds with the intelligence to outwit some mammals. They come to my house and do nothing but squawk, calling their friends over to feast on my scraps. Scraps that I was saving for a species of a higher caliber.

No more I said. Not today. With my Airsoft guns in hand, I decided to rid myself of them my own way. I squatted down behind the bush one morning, opened up the trashcan of the neighbors across the street.
And then we played the waiting game.

Oh, at first they avoided the bait. Perhaps they knew it was a trap, perhaps not. But eventually a few of them wanted to test my resolve. They flew over and, when they sensed no danger, they hollered at their friends to come too.

Once they were gathered around the garbage, it was time to make my move. I took out my Airsoft sniper rifles, aimed, and fired.

The first one fell. But the others were too confused to move. I whipped out my Echo 1 and fired at the lot of them, scattering them across the city and wiping out which ones I could. That will show them to eat through our garbage. Darn crows.
