Dressing Up My Girls

As I was unable to have children, my two dogs, Ollie and Myrna became my children. I take them everywhere with me and I feel as though I do not miss out on any of the things that any normal parent would experience with a child.
Since “my girls” were the center of my world, I decided to open a pet supply store and kennel so that I would be able to take them to work with me. The business was good and it was a lot of fun for me to be able to bring in new products and try them out, such as dog costumes.
I loved to dress the girls up in fancy clothes and capes. I could not wait for my first shipment of dog Halloween costumes to arrive. I knew it was going to look so great to have them wandering through the store in different costumes and thought it would be a great way to promote the products.
I put the Minnie Mouse costume on Myrna and she looked so adorable. The customers all agreed and I sold a lot of those costumes that day. Ollie was dressed up as a princess and they were both so cute that it was easy to convince people they needed these for their own furry friends.
