It wasn’t very long ago that Amazon started selling groceries — including produce! — online.  That pretty much proved it to me: You can buy pretty much anything online these days.

As someone who works at home and — prior to getting a horse — didn’t often get out of the house, I’ve certainly had my share of buying online.  I’ve gotten books, horse stuff, clothes and shoes, and a battery for my laptop online.  I also buy things that I collect — such as vintage dolls and antique books — online.

You can find some of the darnedest things online.  Some things aren’t too surprising — for instance, you can buy child ski wear such as kids snowboard jackets and other youth snowboard gear.  There is computer equipment galore for sale online.  You can even buy things that you download immediately, such as ebooks and computer software.

Some of the weirder stuff I’ve seen for sale online?  Advertising space on someone’s personal car.  Pets (dogs, cats, horses).  And of course, produce.  I mean, who the heck orders a banana over the Internet???
