Remember the Saturday Night Live skit with Eddie Murphy where he imitated James Brown?  The skit was called the James Brown Celebrity Hot Tub Party.  If you haven’t seen it you should take the time to watch it sometime.  It is absolutely hilarious!  If you are looking for a great party hottub, you may want to look at a cal spa. These types of outdoor spas are built for 7 or 8 people and incorporate at least one lounger with several types of massage jets into the design.  Some of the loungers actually have jets that massage your calves and feet, along with neck, back and shoulder massaging jets.  Look for niceties like head and neck rests to up the comfort factor.  Ambience is important too, so lighting should definitely be a consideration.  Many higher end units include lights that can be synchronized to dance over the water surface. You could also add other options, such as additional pumps for more powerful jet action or a sound system to add music to the party!  Don’t forget…safety is an important part of any hot tub party. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission cites hair entanglement and extreme water temperatures as 2 of the most common safety issues with hot tubs.  A great spa and good judgment will ensure that your hot tub party is a success.
