Reproductive Health Improves with Hormones

I’ve recently learned that my husband and I are going to have difficulty having a baby because my hormones are not in balance. We’ve been trying for 18 months, and have had no luck, so we went to a reproductive endocrinologist at the suggestion of our gynecologist who gave us the results of my blood tests. It’s a real relief to us to have hope that we can have a baby.
Not being able to conceive has been frustrating for us because we want children badly. At least modern medicine makes it easy to take care of issues related to reproductive health so that people like us can have children. Both of us have always wanted a family, and now we are excited to start the process of taking the hormones that will eventually allow us to conceive.
The endocrinologist at the fertility clinic said that it will take a few months before my hormones will be in the proper balance. I just started taking the therapy, and the doctor said it may take months before we can expect to conceive. We honestly do not care. What’s important is starting our own family, and we are just happy that neither of us has genetic disorders that could endanger any child we conceive, other than my hormone imbalance, which is not dangerous for the baby.
