You Can Play Shuffleboard Just as Easily

I’ve said before that shuffleboard was kind of a neat discovery that I made while on a cruise one time with nothing better to do. The people we were with wanted to play, and what else can you do but go along? But it turned out to be a lot of fun, and I’m actually kind of good at it.
Now, if you’re like me, you might think that you can only play shuffleboard where there’s a “court” set up on the deck of a ship or the floor of some senior center or something. But if you like the game enough, you can actually get one of those shuffleboard tables to put into your basement or right in your own backyard. And you should like the game: it’s not too unlike pool, sort of, or bowling, or even-what’s that winter Olympic sport called? You know, the one where the rock slides on the ice and they use brooms to get it the closest? Curling! I might even compare it in some twisted way to hopscotch…well, the throwing the pebble part; not the hopping part. Maybe even croquet? But it’s really it’s own game, and it’s pretty fun in a casual sort of way. Try it!
