Golf Schools and Other Odd Information on the Internet
By bkAuto in Education, Sports | 0 comments

One of the great things about browsing through the Internet is that you find yourself exposed to a whole plethora of information that you would not otherwise have learned. Sure, you could achieve the same ends by browsing endlessly through your local library. However the ease of transitioning from topic to topic through links on the Internet makes it much more likely that you’ll learn new topics more quickly when you do such browsing online than in the real world.
One of the fascinating areas which I’ve learned a lot about through Internet research is the sheer number of different types of education and careers that are out there. If it weren’t for the Internet, I’d probably have no idea that there are golf schools out there where you can go to get started on a pro golf career or begin an education which will lead to teaching golf someday. I simply wouldn’t ever have picked up a book about golfing that would have let me learn such things. The Internet facilitated my acquisition of that knowledge.
It’s probably true that this isn’t something which I actually need to know. It’s interesting, though, and it is simply one facet of the range of knowledge I’ve gathered through my years of reading blogs and web news sites. As more and more people put information online, it becomes easier for us each to learn about a more diverse set of interests and topics than it ever was before.
