Cooking Schools – Like Olympic Training for your Taste Buds

For those consider cooking schools culinary arts, think for a moment – do you like eating?
This may sound like a humorous question, but remember: Whatever you cook, you need to try. Cooking is not for the faint of mouth. Your teeth, tongue and taste buds are going to be getting a workout the likes of which no Olympic athlete has ever had to complete. We’re talking the complete food experience.
It doesn’t matter if you have a focus with your culinary training, you are going to be schooled in everything imaginable and you are going to have to like it, because if you don’t you are going to be one sad (but incredibly full) chef-in-training.
Culinary arts are not a fact-finding type of school. They are an experience for your hands and stomach, and every type of food from Ethiopian to French to Canadian is going to be tried. If you have only eaten burgers your entire life, you are either in for a tremendous treat or you are going to be surprised, because there are types of foods you learn in these classes that do not even have a restaurant yet, from countries you may never have even heard of.
