I would have never thought to hire telemarketing consultants, but I’m sure glad I did. I saw a huge influx of customers just after having a couple sessions with telesales consulting. I would have never imagined my business to grow so much in such a short time period. The next big step would be to outsource telesales to a much cheaper location. The biggest reason for doing that would be to decrease my operating costs. I’ve seen a steady increase in costs since I expanded to another location. With the economy not doing so well I don’t think it is wise to keep paying such high rent for the facility we have.

I would love to operate the business out of my house, or out of a much smaller location. The need for internal sales requires business space that I just can’t afford right now. Outsourcing seems to be a good way to go, and a very viable option to maximize our efficiency. I’ve been planning on meeting with the consultants to see what the best approach would be, and the best path to decreasing overall operating costs. If I take the time now while we aren’t hurting, I think I’ll be able to be in a stronger position when the economy picks up.
