Some day, I’ll be working for a company that actually allows its traveling employees some amount of latitude in their travel expenses. And maybe a little bit of time to plan out their journey’s would be great also. Oh, the dreams!

So, my boss comes in this morning telling me that I need to be in Atlanta the day after tomorrow and Alabama the day after that. What?! So, now I get to spend all of my time searching not only for Atlanta, Ga hotels, but trying to find the best hotel deal I can while I’m at it.

Given that we have a nice Internet connection at the office, searching online is actually pretty easy. Of course, I am always second guessing myself when I start this process, but I usually let it go when I see 2 or 3 prices that are all close to each other and fit the parameters of my travel needs.

Every once in a while, I’m blessed with finding the very best price and options the first time out, like I did when I was able to book at the Clarion Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama. It only took a couple of more searches for similar accomodations to know that I had found the best deal for me.
